Since 2004 over 20 public and private stakeholders, from across the southeast Michigan
region, come together annually to produce the largest annual workforce event of its kind in
Michigan - the Southeast Michigan Employment, Training and Family
Resource Expo. More than just a job fair, the event is:
- an opportunity to receive the training and tools necessary to secure
and retain a job;
- a chance to learn about employment opportunities both locally and
beyond our community;
- an opportunity to use computers in our technology center where users can access the Michigan
Talent Bank to enter a resume or apply for jobs online; and
- a place to find out about human service resources that are available
to assist individuals and families achieve independence and succeed
in life.
The expo is free and open to everyone.
